Barrique cellar

At the deepest point of the castle, eleven metres underground, is the barrique cellar, rediscovered and restored during works at the end of the 19th century. Archaeologists believe the cellar to be at least 1,000 years old.

The temperature down here is constant throughout the year, ensuring perfect maturing conditions for our red and white wines which are stored here solely in barriques, French oak barrels.
