Immerse yourself in the world of Castel Sallegg. From the Vineria Castel Sallegg, our sommelier Evelyn will guide you into the nearly 1,000-year-old castle cellar – the heart of the estate. Between ancient vaulted ceilings and barriques, you'll discover how tradition and craftsmanship come together. The experience concludes with a tasting of five distinctive wines from our three historic vineyards in Kaltern.

At the Kaltern Wine Hiking Day, it’s all about lacing up your hiking boots, grabbing a wine glass – and off you go! Along the most scenic trails around Kaltern, a delicious journey of discovery awaits, taking you through the terroir of our wines. Castel Sallegg is always part of the celebration – offering a very special rest stop: in the historic setting of our castle courtyard, enjoy fine wines, delicious dishes, and finger food, all accompanied by the vibrant sounds of live music.

Night of the Cellars – A Feast for the Senses
Once a year, the most atmospheric cellars along the South Tyrolean Wine Road open their doors for a truly special occasion – the Night of the Cellars. This extraordinary wine festival invites guests to step behind the scenes of local wineries, sample exquisite wines, and experience the magic of South Tyrolean wine culture up close.
Castel Sallegg also takes part when the celebration comes to Kaltern and Eppan (every three years), warmly welcoming visitors to the enchanting courtyard of the castle.
