Lagrein Riserva DOC Alto Adige
Forest berries, blackcurrant and violets
Our Lagrein Riserva matures for two years, but loses nothing of its typical character in this time, which acts to make it gentler. The Lagrein vine comes from our area and embodies the variety of our terroir.
The wine has a thick crimson-red colour with violet reflexes, with aromas of ripe berries, blackberries, blackcurrants, elder and violets. It is powerful with soft tannins on the palate; the finish has notes of dark chocolate and raspberry.
Our Lagrein Riserva pairs ideally with quick-roasted, dark meat dishes, game with fruity sauces, hearty terrines, casseroles and aromatic hard cheeses.
Deep crimson colour with violet hues and black core.
Reminiscent of ripe berries, such as cassis, bramble and elderberry with an underlying, almost floral note of violet.
Well-integrated tannins and a pleasant finish with hints of tobacco, leather and almond.
